  1. hay Steve how are you? , question: I just ordered my propane tank, propane burner with a propane hose, can I use a propane hose instead of a copper line set up?

    1. Not inside the cart body. If the rubber hose gets abraded or cut, propane gas will build up inside the cart. Very dangerous. Use copper inside the cart for safety. Rubber is fine outside the cart body for accessories like grills, water heater, etc.

  2. Bubbles! What a great idea! I’ll have to raid my granddaughters bubble stash lol. Teflon tape is like Duct tape – no home should ever be without it. I pick up a pkg of Teflon tape about every other trip to the hardware store. Can never remember if I used the last roll or where I may have put it. Now I have so much you would think I am in the plumbing business. 🙂

  3. Should use “gas tape” for any propane connections that require a tape seal. Gas tape is yellow. It is just thicker “teflon” type tape, but because it is yellow, inspectors can readily tell it’s “gas tape.”

    Hope this helps!

  4. just being proactive and have a what if quewtion… What would i do if i have a gas leak by the stove where I cut and epoxied that elbow fitting. I would imagine its difficult to redo that elbow at that late in the process. Would it be as eazy as adding more epoxy?

    1. You should never have a leak at that joint. Epoxy is tough. But it would be a good idea to leak test it before you install it in the cart.
