I’m having so much fun building my cart. I used a compressed air stapler to attach the top and that worked great. Are the screws structural/more sturdy or is it ok to use the stapler to put these side skins on?
As long as you used adhesive in addition to the staples, it should hold fine provided that the staples were long enough to get a good grip. If you are unsure, it wouldn’t hurt to drive a screw every 18″ or so.
