I had just finished the prototype and took it out in the street to get some pictures for the website. When I turned around the street was full of kids and their moms who saw it and came running over to play with it. They all went nuts over it and I’m sure your grandkids will too!

This is a great little cart. it will serve me two fold. I need to have a very small cart to sell lemonade this summer to generate money to build the actual hot dog cart. Yes, just scale it up a bit and you could make an awesome lemonade or shaved ice cart. Just check with your health inspector for sink requirements…

Hi! I’m excited about trying this project for my kids this summer. My kids are 9, 4,3, and 2 and this is perfect for them. I am widowed and had always depended on my husband for anything that required power tools. These instructions are so simple and the tools required are some of the less intimidating tools, so I am feeling really confident in my ability to do this by myself. 🙂 Thank you for including this Jr. project, it’s just our size right now! I was wondering, do you have a ballpark cost for this? Thank you again!
Hi Amanda. I’m glad you like this project. I don’t have a cost for the project but just make a list of materials and head to the local hardware store. You’ll be able to come up with an exact price this way. Send me pics when you finish it!
Hello Steve, awesome project for me and the grand daughters to build. However the plans appear to be sized more for the preschool to maybe 2nd grader, is there a chance you could help with the cut out dimensions/diagram of the sheet of plywood to upscale for a size between the junior and a full fledged slinger cart? (7-10 year olds)

Steve, I just built one for my granddaughter Destiny. I made it bigger then what your plans showed. I can’t wait to see her using it during family cookouts and neighborhood yard sales. Thank You.
